Admin Settlement
Admin settlement is the simplest and fastest resolution method. The platform admin verifies the outcome and executes settlement directly.
Scope
- Applied to most markets during the platform’s early stage
- Markets needing fast settlement or not yet connected to automated data sources
Flow
- Market close date (
closes_at) reached - Admin verifies the outcome (YES or NO)
- Admin executes “Settle YES” or “Settle NO” from the admin dashboard
- Winners receive KP payouts; losing positions are zeroed out
- Market status:
active→resolved

Payout Calculation
When a market resolves to YES:
- Each YES share is worth 1 KP
- Payout =
total_shares × 1 KP - NO shares are worth 0
When a market resolves to NO:
- Each NO share is worth 1 KP
- YES shares are worth 0
